Your own memory, in every assistant
Exomem turns your exports — chats, notes, voice memos — into a searchable memory that stays on your own computer. ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and Claude Code can search it with your permission and cite dated excerpts.
How it works
- You run Exomem on your own Mac or Linux machine and import your exports.
- A small link program on that machine keeps an outbound connection to exomem.io. No open ports, no cloud copy of your data.
- Your assistant connects to
https://mcp.exomem.io/mcp. exomem.io checks your sign-in and forwards each request to your machine, which answers.
Until you set up your own machine, connected assistants see a demo workspace with synthetic sample memories, and every answer says so.
